chase the colours
AI-powered sunrise and sunset forecasts for Australia. Know exactly when the sky will ignite, with cinematic precision.
powered by real science
SkyFiire does not guess. It pulls live weather data and analyses twelve atmospheric factors to predict exactly how good the sky will be.
High, mid, and low clouds analysed separately. The right clouds at the right altitude create the colour.
Plan your week around the best skies. Every sunrise and sunset for the next seven days, scored and ranked.
Set your threshold and location. Get a push notification only when a truly great sky is coming.
built for sky chasers
SkyFiire analyses live weather data and cloud layers to predict the quality of every sunrise and sunset across Australia.
Every sunrise and sunset gets a 0-100 score based on cloud cover, visibility, humidity, wind, and rain, so you know if it is worth waking up for.
Not just a score, but how confident we are. Cloud variability, precipitation, and forecast lead time combine into a certainty percentage.
High, mid, and low cloud layers are analysed separately in real time, because the right clouds at the right altitude make the magic.
When conditions hit 90+, Chase Mode gives you specific geographic and timing guidance so you never miss a perfect sky.
the truth about great skies
Most people see a beautiful sunrise or sunset only a handful of times a year, and almost always by accident. The right clouds, the right humidity, the right wind, all aligning at the right moment, it does not happen often.

The most common question
It's the question we get asked more than any other. So we built something no other sky forecast has: a Confidence Score.
Weather forecasts shift. Clouds move. Conditions change. The Confidence Score tells you how stable the forecast is, so you know whether to trust it or keep watching for updates.
You need lots of cloud for colour. But more cloud means more risk of the sun being obscured entirely. A high score with low confidence is a gamble. A high score with high confidence is a sure thing.
We analyse cloud variability, low-cloud near the horizon, rain probability, and forecast lead time. The more stable these factors, the higher the confidence. The more volatile, the lower.
High confidence (75%+): Conditions are stable and the forecast is likely to hold.
Moderate (50-75%): Things could go either way. Keep an eye on the sky.
Low (below 50%): Volatile conditions. The sky may surprise you, for better or worse.

the story
I have been chasing sunrises since I was a kid. There is something about standing in the dark, waiting for the sky to catch fire, that never gets old.
For years I wished I could build an app that would tell me exactly when the next great sky was coming, so nobody would have to rely on luck the way I did. I am not a developer, and for a long time that dream stayed just that, a dream.
With AI, that is finally possible. SkyFiire is the app I always wished existed, and I hope it helps you catch more perfect skies.
